Well it's been a bloody long time since the last time a wrote a blog. And I have a 3000 word essay due on Friday which I have barely started so of course, here I am writing a blog!! Why is it that whenever I blog it's purely a procrastination tool?!? Meh, such is life.

So what can I report. Well, I went to the Good Charlotte concert on Friday nite (McFLy connection ^_^) and it was FRIGGIN BRILLIANT!! It was the second time I've seen GC but I hadn't been for a while and man I forgot how bloody amazingt they are live!!!! May have been helped by the fact that last time I saw them was in seats in Canberra (even though I stood throughout the entire thing anyway). ANd this time I was on the floor, pretty close to the front, on Benji's side at Hordern here in the wonderful town of Sydney!!! I didn't stop jumping for the 3 or whatever hours it was.. and let me tell u, at the time I didn't realise how much pain this was causing as I had had a little bit to drink to add to the buzz (not that I needed it in the end cos GC are plenty good - english kathryn - at getting u revved!). The next day I couldn't even move so Lee and I spent the day watching McFLy vids (^_^) but then the next day shopping in Pitt St, the legs were STILL in pain! But I am not complaining (well not much anyway) cos not only did I attend one of THE concerts of my life, but I got a bloody good gym workout to go with it! Cheers Madden boys!!

Oh and THe Hot LIes and Kisschasy were the support acts.. also 2 of my "up there" bands! Hot LIes were bloody brilliant and played my fave song so I was cheering!! (Promise to those playing at home). They are fantastic live. Kisschasy were also good, however, I dunno, it just didn't feel like they were TOTALLY into it. Maybe they've been too much promo and shows that they weren't as hyped. Or maybe it didn't help that GC came on after and outshone them to no end!!!! Meh.. either way, Bloody fantastic nite!!! two thumbs up here!!

Hmmmm, what else to report. Oh yeah, McFLy are possibly coming to Australia to record their album in january!!! OMG !!! I was thinking the only way I could see them was to go over to London when I eventually get some money!! And that wasn't gonna be for a few years. Now it might be happening in a few months!! now I realise that even if they are coming, they are primarily coming to record their album and they've never released anything here so it may be difficult to see them.. but I have hope!! Who knows, they might be planning to release their greatest hits down here as their first album then depending on how that goes, release the fourth album that they're recording too!!! Man I'm excited... all the ideas flowing!!!

But anyways...I don't think I have much else to report. It would only be McFLy related from now on anyway cos nothing else is happening except impending exams :-S

Declaration time -  I LOVE KISSCHASY'S NEW ALBUM!!

Was at broadway today buying some make up as the stash in the powder department was at an all time low, in fact, it was non-existent. So of course I was looking like a dog as I had also just rolled outta bed. ANyways, after purchasing said make, I thought I'd have a little poke around in the stores - Just Jeans, Jeans West, Jay Jays, Diva.. the usual - and of course I couldn't just walk past HMV. I can be very dangerous in a cd store, but I just had to do my routine check for anything Hanson, Busted, McFly...no particular reason as I have everything already, but I just like to look. And of course there was zip! Not even an old copy of Middle Of Nowhere!! Not even a card that said hanson with nothing behind it!!  I was a little disgusted. Why doesn't Australia appreciate good music?!?

But I did notice there was a card in the soundtrack section for Just My Luck and there was no cd! It put a smile to my face to know that some McFly fan out there had already bought it! I was proud!

Anyways, once I'd gotten over all of that I went over to the charted albums, and I noticed Kisschasy's new album! I love the single (i.e. the title of this entry) and figured I'd probably like the album, seeing as I loved the previous one! Plus, I thought it was important that I learn every word to every song as they are one of the support acts for GC who I shall be seeing in October

And I was so tempted to just buy it, but it wasn't reduced like all the other cds in the store, and i was feeling a bit poor. But it WAS in the little player thing with head phones.. so I had a quick flick through and I just knew I had to have this album!... But then I remembered good ol Itunes... so instead I decided to  head into trusty Tar-gei to buy a gift card (as if I put it all on the olds credit card I'd lose control and prob end up getting shot in the arse)

So i raced home, all excited to put the money on and buy it cheaper... and then I find the bloody chick didn't activate the card!!! So I had to get back in the car and go back again. Then it took the dude forever to activate .... meanwhile I was getting ancy from the deprivation of necessary new music!! Then finally he did it!!!

So after a small cookies and cream shake from wendy's I came back to my little hole and now I have the album!!
Now after that very long rant on me getting the album, I am here to tell u... I LOVE IT!!! 

I mean it's fairly typical Kisschasy.. but I just love it! It's happy, and rocky and it's just me!! And there are some nice slower ones too! Haven't chosen an absolute fave yet.. but I know I'll get one soon!

So if you're a fan of the last Kisschasy album.. you'll love the new one!! 

Back to getting lost in the music ..... oh yeah, and doing that stupid assignment I was meant to be doing while I was running around today... WOOPS!

Hello there

 Kathryn here!! Don't really know what to write about so I'll just crap on about myself for a bit ^_^

I'm a massive music lover and I love daydreaming, it's a daily event, often happens more than once. My favourite time to day dream is in the morning when I'm lying in bed and don't want/have to get up yet, in the shower, when i go to bed to sleep (hoping it will turn into a real dream), in boring lectures, on the bus, driving in the car.... etc. 

My first true love in music was Hanson. I mean I loved Spice Girls, Savage garden etc, and my first cd was a disney hits one, but Hanson made me fall in love with music! And I think this quote of Taylor's is perfect!!

"The first music you really fall in love with is more than just music. It's something that clicks in you beyond the song, it's a message or image that causes you to jump in and not let go."

My new love, which is actually on par as favourite with Hanson, sometimes even beats them.. i change a lot these days, lol.. is MCFLY!!!! I love them! The music is just so damn happy and I can't help but bounce and smile when I hear them!!

And they're all just so damn awesome!! So funny and just seem like normal guys!! They're just tops in my book!!

I also love Son of Dork (aka the king James Bourne), Matt Willis (although he is now ending his solo career and gonna make a new band after his nuptials), Busted (RIP), Dean Geyer (the only artist out of idol who has become one of my top faves), The LIving End, Angels and Airwaves, John Mayer, at the moment JT, and a hell of a lot more. Very random and all over the place but I love it!! 

Although at the moment I'm very into bouncy happy! And going a little retro, listening to all the boy bands etc i used to b obsessed with (and prob still am)- BSB, NSync, Five... etc ^_^

So anyway, as u can see music is a big part of my life. It's pretty much all ive managed to crap on about in this entry! lol

I also live at college on campus for uni, study radiography, love girly movies-current fave being Bridget Jones' Diary 1 and 2!, love going out, love staying in,im  loyal, im stubborn, and i love being me ^_^
